MagmaChat Privacy Policy
Version 1.0
Effective as of February 17, 2025
MagmaChat is an AI service (from Wearemagma Group Inc.) that works to create specialized bots that act as virtual staff for your business, coordinated to help you focus on your goals. This allows you to become a one-person corporation, often referred to as "copilots."
MagmaChat's Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and process users' personal data when they use our website and other places where MagmaChat may act as a data controller and link to this Privacy Policy. This includes, for example, when you use MagmaChat’s APIs or other products as a consumer for personal use ("Services").
Additionally, MagmaChat provides further information about data and privacy in its services and features that require the use of personal information. It also describes your privacy rights. The “Rights and Options” section includes more information about your rights and how to exercise them. If you would like to learn more about our privacy practices, feel free to contact us.
MagmaChat’s Commitment to Your Privacy
At MagmaChat, we take the security of your personal data seriously. To ensure this security, we have established clear privacy and security guidelines, which are communicated to all our employees. Additionally, we take appropriate measures within the company that operates MagmaChat to protect privacy. These measures involve implementing technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, or alteration of your personal data. Our goal is to keep your personal data secure and protected at all times.
1. Personal Data
At MagmaChat, we hold a strong conviction regarding fundamental privacy rights. We believe these rights should be consistent regardless of where a person is located in the world. For this reason, we consider all data related to an identified or identifiable individual, whether by MagmaChat or another entity, as "personal data," regardless of the individual's place of residence. This means that personal data includes both directly identifiable information (such as your name) and information that does not directly identify you but can be reasonably used to do so. Aggregated data, on the other hand, is considered non-personal information under this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy explains how MagmaChat, or a company affiliated with MagmaChat, handles personal data when you interact with us through our websites or in person. MagmaChat may also partner with third parties in its services. Please note that MagmaChat’s Privacy Policy does not apply to the collection or use of personal data by third parties. We recommend reading the privacy policies of such third parties and familiarizing yourself with your privacy rights before interacting with them.
2. Privacy Rights at MagmaChat
At MagmaChat, we value and respect the rights related to your personal data. These rights include the right to know what information we have about you, access it, correct it if necessary, transfer it, limit its use, and request its deletion.
We have established these rights for all our visitors or customers worldwide, and if you choose to exercise them, we assure you that you will not be discriminated against or receive a lower level of service from MagmaChat. Additionally, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time for MagmaChat to process your personal data. If you wish to exercise your rights and options related to privacy, including in cases where an external service provider acts on our behalf, you can contact us at [email protected]. These additional measures help protect your personal data and ensure your privacy.
In certain situations, we may not be able to comply with your request due to specific circumstances. We may deny a request if fulfilling it compromises our legitimate use of data for security and fraud prevention purposes (for example, if an account is under investigation for security reasons). Other reasons we might deny a privacy request include the risk to the privacy of third parties, its abusive or unjustified nature, or its impracticality. If we deny your request, we will provide you with an explanation of the basis for our denial.
3. Use of Personal Data by MagmaChat
At MagmaChat, we use personal data to enhance our services, communicate with you, ensure security, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, in some cases, we may use personal data for other specific purposes, provided we have your consent.
Depending on the circumstances, MagmaChat may rely on your consent or on the necessity to process your data to fulfill a contract with you, protect your vital interests or those of others, or comply with legal requirements. We may also process your personal data when we believe we have a legitimate interest (or that of third parties) in doing so, taking into account your rights, interests, and expectations. If you have any questions about the legal basis for our data processing, you can contact our Data Protection Officer at [email protected].
We may collect different types of information to:
Boost Services
We collect personal data to improve and deliver our services. This includes gathering data to enhance our offerings, conduct internal audits, analyze data, and troubleshoot issues. This data allows us to provide personalized services and meet your needs more effectively.

Compliance with the Law
We comply with applicable laws and use personal data to fulfill legal obligations, such as tax requirements or notifications, and to respond to legitimate government requests.
MagmaChat does not use algorithms or create automated profiles to make significant decisions that may affect you without providing the possibility for human review. Additionally, MagmaChat does not use or disclose sensitive personal data for purposes that require your explicit consent under applicable law.

These transfers occur to carry out the processing activities described in this Privacy Policy. MagmaChat complies with applicable laws regarding cross-border data transfers to ensure your data is protected wherever it is processed.
6.1. Aggregated or Anonymized Information
We may process your personal data in an aggregated or anonymized form to analyze the effectiveness of our Services, conduct research, analyze user behavior, and train our models and interfaces. Generally, we do this with your authorization (when you act as the controller of any personal data contained in Prompts and Outputs). We also do this without reference to you when our purpose is to enforce and train classification models for trust and safety purposes.
7. How We Disclose Personal Data

When information is transferred outside the EEA or the UK to a country that does not have an EU Commission adequacy decision or an adequacy decision under UK data protection law, please be aware it may be subject to a lower standard of protection. MagmaChat ensures adequate protections by using Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognized mechanisms.

10.1. Others
MagmaChat may share your personal data with its affiliated companies, service providers working on its behalf, partners, developers, publishers, or other third parties only for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy and according to your instructions. 12. Children and Personal Data
At MagmaChat, we understand the importance of safeguarding personal data of children (individuals under 18 years of age or the equivalent age in each jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children on our site. We have implemented additional measures to protect children’s personal data.
If you become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal data, please email [email protected] so we can investigate and, if appropriate, delete the data. If we discover that personal data of a child has been collected, we will take steps to remove it as soon as possible.
